Mullen runs "Spread Lite" due to our talent /experience level here and we came very close to winning against LSU. No doubt LSU has the talent, but a mediocre performance is all I've seen from them. My best guess is Miles was inspired with what he inherited, but is not a coach that can sustain a team. Florida seemed to toy with them, obviously protecting Tebow and doing just enough to win. Please toy with us when you come to Starkville. We are infinitely improved team with coach Mullen. Our only problem is turnovers. It is frustrating to watch us play immeasurably better on offense only to lose. The positive side is this rebuilding of our program is obviously working, unlike since about forever. I picked Auburn to be the surprise team of the SEC after watching their offense against us, was ARK a fluke? Coaching? Overconfidence? THE SEC CHAMPIONSHIP GAME IS THE NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP GAME. Whether he leaves or stays, he'll have success. He didn't even get held to 13 points against LSU, I don't think. I've followed LSU closely for years, even went to school there, and I like to believe Florida is Tigerbait, so I'm not on Florida's side when I say Meyer didn't WANT to score more than 13. I felt they could win 50-3, but he stopped at 13 because he knew that would be enough. He didn't want to risk running his tradition Tebow-filled offense because he wanted Tim to have a chance to avoid further brain damage. I don't think LSU stopped Florida at 13 because LSU's defense isn't good enough to stop a kindergarten. LSU's offense, as talented as it is, and it IS talented, is badly coached and the talent is poorly utilized because of Miles and Crowton's inability to gameplan. There's a reason Saban and Jimbo Fisher and Miles and Fisher had success: Fisher and Saban believed in a traditional, run the ball to set up the pass type of offense, just like Meyer and most other great coaches.
